MEGA Update coming to Universal Studios

Construction on Universal’s newest theme park, Epic Universe, is progressing at breakneck speed. In this latest update, we take a look at the latest developments in each of the park’s lands.

Super Nintendo World

In Super Nintendo World, the base structure for the escalator is being installed at the portal entrance. Colorful wall theming has been added around a section of the Yoshi’s Adventure ride. And the Donkey Kong Minecart Coaster’s Temple facade is being enclosed.

The Yoshi’s Adventure ride is a family-friendly dark ride that will take guests on an adventure through Yoshi’s Island. The ride will feature colorful theming, interactive elements, and a variety of Yoshis.

The Donkey Kong Minecart Coaster is a roller coaster that will take guests on a wild ride through Donkey Kong’s Jungle. The ride will feature twists, turns, and drops, as well as a few surprises along the way.

Wizarding World

How to Train Your Dragon Land

In How to Train Your Dragon Land, the support for its portals Beacon has been installed. The massive dragon and Viking statues continue to receive paint. And the framing for the roof over the coaster station is making good progress.

The How to Train Your Dragon coaster is a family-friendly roller coaster that will take guests on a thrilling adventure through the world of How to Train Your Dragon. The ride will feature a variety of special effects, including fire breathing dragons.

Constellation Carousel

In the center of the park, the covered flat ride in the middle expected to be named Constellation Carousel has had almost all of its Dome supports installed. And there appears to be over a dozen small structures being installed around this side of the carousel.

The Constellation Carousel is a covered flat ride that will take guests on a journey through the stars. The ride will feature a variety of colorful lights and projections, as well as a variety of musical sounds.

Large round Fountain area

In the large round Fountain area, the shape for some of the Amphitheater seating is being formed. This area is expected to be used for live entertainment, such as shows and concerts.
