Okay, so I stumbled upon something that really took me back. You know those View-Master toys? The ones with the red plastic and the circular reels of slides? Well, someone recently found one from 1995, still sealed, and it got me thinking.
It’s pretty wild how much theme parks have changed since the mid-90s. The person who found it mentioned it was ‘such a different park.’ I can only imagine! Back then, it was all about the thrill of the rides, the giant mascots, and maybe a slightly less polished, but perhaps more raw, experience. No fancy apps, no virtual queues, just pure, old-school fun.
I wish they could have shared the images. I’m picturing classic roller coasters, maybe some dated attractions we’ve long forgotten, and definitely a different vibe overall. It’s like looking at a snapshot of a time before everything got so digitized.
Does anyone else remember these View-Master sets, especially from the 90s? What are your memories of theme parks from that era? It’s a fun little trip down memory lane, isn’t it?
