Disneyland Hong Kong has reopened a major resort attraction after more than three years of renovations and upgrades. The effort to modernize the resort was initially prompted by the pandemic, which forced the park to close in 2020.
The closure provided a unique opportunity for Hong Kong Disneyland to enhance its offerings, resulting in a complete remodel of the attraction. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the resort opted to use the closure as an opportunity to infuse more magic into the guest experience.
The resort’s three hotels, including Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge, and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, were all impacted by the renovation. Among the new features added to the resort are a redesigned lobby and two new restaurants. Ink & Plate, a new eatery that blends retro and modern looks, is one of the new dining options available to guests.
The reopening of the resort attraction is an exciting moment for Disney fans worldwide, as it highlights the enduring international interest in the brand. In addition to the renovated hotel, a one-of-a-kind statue is set to be unveiled in October, and a Frozen-inspired attraction is expected to transform the guest experience.
Although reviews of the renovated resort are yet to arrive, initial photos suggest that Hong Kong Disneyland has successfully captured the magic that Disney is known for. Whether you’re already planning a trip or considering one, share your thoughts in the comments section below!
