Wait Times Soaring at Magic Kingdom

Estimated read time 2 min read

Summer is in full swing at Walt Disney World, and that means wait times are soaring. On Saturday, June 24, wait times at Magic Kingdom reached an all-time high for the year.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest wait time of the day, at 110 minutes. Other popular rides with long wait times included Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (90 minutes), Pirates of the Caribbean (80 minutes), and Space Mountain (75 minutes).

Even some of the less popular rides had longer wait times than usual. For example, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover had a wait time of 30 minutes, and the Mad Tea Party had a wait time of 20 minutes.

There are a few reasons why wait times are so high at Magic Kingdom. First, it is the most popular park at Walt Disney World. Second, the park is currently undergoing a major renovation, which has led to some closures and detours. Third, the weather has been beautiful in Orlando lately, which has brought out more guests.

If you are planning to visit Magic Kingdom soon, be prepared for long wait times. You may want to consider using the FastPass+ system to book your rides in advance. You can also try visiting the park during the off-season or on a weekday to avoid the crowds.

With a little planning, you can still have a great time at Magic Kingdom, even with the long wait times.
